Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (1200m)
Munstaseera has enjoyed an outstanding start to her racing career and the Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes looks a lovely bit of black type for her. The I Am Invincible filly resumed this time for second in the Fillies Prelude race at Caulfield before running two-and-a-half lengths fifth in the Blue Diamond a fortnight ago. I am more than happy to follow that form line and she should only improve third-up.

Group 2 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes (1400m)
Holyfield puts an unbeaten record on the line in the VRC Sires’ Produce and looks capable of winning again. The I Am Invincible colt beat subsequent Inglis Millennium winner Prime Star on debut at Newcastle before repeating that effort and result at Ladbrokes Park last time out. This is another step up in class, but he harbours plenty of upside.

The Nova100 Trophy (1400m)
Russian Camelot stamped himself as a horse to follow during
a brief debut prep in spring and can make a winning return in the third on
Super Saturday. The Camelot colt recorded an easy win at Ballarat first-up
before finishing a close second in the Listed Connoisseur Stakes here at his
only other start. He’s drawn ideally and will take beating.

Group 3 Schweppervescence Trophy (1600m)
Fidelia has improved for two starts this time and is primed
to win the fourth on Super Saturday. The Not A Single Doubt mare needed the run
when eighth first-up from a spell but weaved through the field and filled the
minors in the Frances Tressady here last week. I like that she’s on the short
back up and she’s drawn ideally in barrier 5, with a very manageably 54kgs in
tow.

Listed Furphy Ale March Stakes (1400m)
This is an excellent edition of this race and there is a
case to be made for more than half of the twelve confirmed starters.
Sirius Suspect will take winning form into the race and
looks a live chance of making in two in a row, at a price ($8 at publish). The Saab
Hasan-trained gelding flew home to finish a close second behind Blazejowski
when resuming and never appeared in doubt down the straight here three weeks
ago. Fitter third-up and will have conditions to suit again.

Group 1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m)
Bivouac will enjoy good improvement for his first-up hit-out in the Oakleigh Plate and will take beating in the Newmarket Handicap. The Exceed And Excel colt starred in 2019 and won the Group 1 Golden Rose before ending his year a close second in the Coolmore, at this track and trip. He is an above-average galloper and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.
The Inevitable is an interesting runner and could prove over the Newmarket Handicap odds at his current price ($9 at publish). The Dundeel colt went to another level in spring and he boasts an outstanding fresh record (3:2-0-1). Happy to have something small on each-way to save.

Group 2 Kewney Stakes (1400m)
The Kewney Stakes is shaping as one of the standout contests on Super Saturday, with an outstanding field of fillies was confirmed earlier in the week.
Rubisaki has recorded three wins from as many starts this
time, but was forced to run on a heavy track at Warwick Farm last time out and
for that reason, I’m actually happy to take her on as favourite this week as I
am worried it was too much of a gut-buster.
Sassy Salitage jumped the favourite but probably needed the
run in the Group 3 Typhoon Tracy at The Valley a couple of weeks ago and looks
a live each-way chance in this, at a big price ($16 at publish). The Toronado filly
was excellent during her debut prep, recording two wins and ending her prep
second behind Exhilarates in Listed company.

Group 1 Australian Cup (2000m)
The Australian Cup is a typically wide-open affair as some of the country’s best horses come together in search of Group 1 glory.
Kings Will Dream has returned to racing in typically excellent
form this time and is ready to peak in condition in the Australian Cup. The
Casamento gelding hit the line to finish third in the Group 1 CF Orr Stakes when
resuming and only just missed in a driving finish to the Group 2 Peter Young
Stakes last time out. Up in trip and back to Flemington, he looks very well
placed to record another win at the highest level and represents great value at
around the $7 mark.

Listed Incognitus Stakes (1100m)
Garner loves racing down the Flemington straight and he can make a winning return in the last on Super Saturday. The Gordon Richards-trained gelding hasn’t missed a place in six career starts and continued to improve as the bar was raised in spring, culminating in a dominant win over 1000m here on Cup Day. He’s had the benefit of a trial in the lead-up to this race and hopefully, he can send us home a winner.
