Eagle Commander can be forgiven for his last start seventh after being restrained at the start however if he produces a performance something like his previous three he will be a chance in this contest. He has three runner up placings at this track and distance from four starts.
Jack Rocks has not broken through for his maiden win as yet however his three runs have been full of merit. He has not had a better chance to break through for a win than this contest and I think he will take that chance this afternoon.
Preachers Daughter has managed just the two wins in her 22 start career however she has been racing well of late. She bundled the start last time out so we can forgive that and she was an impressive winner prior at this track. She is worth a small each way play in this contest.
