Swan Hill - Race 5 3:00pm AEDT

No. 1 Cape Richards

Cape Richards is very well-placed in what is far from the strongest race. He recorded an impressive victory at The Valley a few starts ago and he has generally been racing in stronger company than this. Barrier six is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.

No. 3 Nova Way

Austy Coffey has an excellent record at Swan Hill and he has found a lovely race for Nova Way. He was able to return to winning form with a classy victory over this track and distance and this race isn’t much tougher. A repeat of his last start effort would make him very tough to beat in this contest.

Swan Hill - Race 8 4:00pm AEDT

No. 5 Indispensable

Indispensable has been racing well without winning this campaign and he should be able to get another win on the board third-up. The form coming out of his last start effort at Bordertown has been very strong and he didn’t have a huge amount of luck in running in that contest. The Akeed Mofeed gelding will settle in the second half of the field and will be flying home late.

Swan Hill - Race 8 4:30pm AEDT

No. 11 Aleda

Aleda was outclassed at Flemington last start and this is a far more appropriate race for the Dissident filly. Her maiden race win at Murota was impressive and she is a lightly-raced filly that still has the scope to improve. Linda Meech will ride her aggressively in the early stages of this race and she will give her rivals something to chase.
