Pakenham - Race 2 1:35pm AEDT

No. 3 Hasseltoff

Hasseltoff made his racing debut with a very promising performance at Pakenham and a repeat of that effort would make him tough to beat this afternoon. He got a long way back in that contest and had no luck in running, but that shouldn’t be a problem from barrier four with Beau Mertens in the saddle. The Toorak Toff gelding is well-placed to claim a maiden race win.

Pakenham - Race 4 7:00pm AEDT

No. 4 Steamboat Rock

Steamboat Rock has gone close without winning in his past two race starts and he is well-placed to claim a maiden race win tonight. He ran the fastest closing sectionals in the race at Pakenham last start and the form coming out of that race has been strong. Barrier seven is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.

Pakenham - Race 5 7:30pm AEDT

No. 6 Carpool Karaoke

Carpool Karaoke never gave his rivals a chance when he led from start to finish at Pakenham last start and he clearly has a fair amount of ability. This race is tougher, but he has more upside than his rivals and it really would not surprise to see him claim back-to-back wins to start his racing career.

Pakenham - Race 6 8:00pm AEDT

No. 9 Lodestar

Lodestar was able to score a maiden race win at Echuca in impressive fashion and he still has the scope to improve on that performance. The form coming out of that win has been strong and this race really isn’t that much tougher. The Zoustar colt will have no excuses in the run from barrier five and has an excellent chance to make it two wins on the trot.
