Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 2 1:20pm AEST

No.7 Ocular

Ocular comes out of a very strong form race at The Valley and this contest is definitely weaker than that. He has drawn wide, but he does have good early speed and Thomas Stockdale can ride him aggressively in the early stages of this contest. Stockdale is a great judge of pace and he will ensure that Ocular proves tough to run down.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 3 1:55pm AEST

No. 22 Hasseltoff

Hasseltoff has finished second in his two race starts to date and today is the day that he can breakthrough for a maiden race win. The Toorak Toff gelding was only denied by the narrowest of margins at Pakenham last start and he didn’t have a great deal of luck in running, which cost him the race. I don’t think that this contest is any tougher and with even luck in running he will prove tough to beat.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 8 5:10pm AEST

No. 4 War Tiger

War Tiger is a stayer with upside and he can make it back-to-back wins this afternoon. He outstayed his rivals to record an impressive win at Morphettville last start and he still has the scope to improve on that performance. Barrier two is ideal for him and Ben Melham will have plenty of options in the early stages of this race.

Warwick Farm - Race 7 4:20pm AEST

No. 13 Segalas

Segalas returned to the races with a tough win at Randwick and it took a smart effort from Mccormack to deny her at Warwick Farm last start. This is a step-up in class, but the Godolphin mare still has the upside to improve and she gets into this race very well in at the weights. The drop back to 1100 metres is ideal and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle.
