It was another very big week of racing, but it was a particularly large week for one Ladbrokes punter.
They were able to turn $2000 into $136,000 with a very well-constructed multi at both Warrnambool and Morphettville!
This huge multi win was almost over before it even begun!
Our punter backed the favourite Order Of Command in the Wangoom Handicap at Warrnambool and the top-weight looked in trouble when Superhard went to the front at the top of the straight.
Order Of Command was able to fight back though and got our punter off to a winning start.
It was an easier watch for our punter in the Warrnambool Cup.
Too Close The Sun was backed as if unbeatable in the Warrnambool Cup and that proved to be the case as he led from start to finish to claim a feature race win.
It all came down to Russian Camelot in the South Australian Derby.
Our punter would have been feeling confident when the big money came for Russian Camelot in the lead-up to the race, but we would love to have seen his reaction when John Allen settled the favourite three-wide towards the tail of the field.
It didn’t matter though.
Russian Camelot cruised up to his rivals at the 200 metre mark and he could hardly have been more impressive in the concluding stages.
There were plenty of punters happy with Russian Camelot’s victory, but this punter was surely the happiest!
