Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 26th May

Newcastle - Race 1 12:45pm AEST

No. 6 Soul Purpose

Soul Purpose was finally able to break through for a maiden race win at Hawkesbury last start and it wouldn’t surprise if she is now able to string a few wins together.

The step-up to 1800 metres proved ideal for her last start and I don’t think she will have any issues with the 1895 metres at Newcastle this afternoon.

She has the benefit of Tom Sherry in the saddle and will prove tough to beat.

Newcastle - Race 5 3:10pm AEST

No. 1 Brook Hill

Brook Hill showed some promise when he made his racing at Newcastle earlier this month and he should take good improvement from that effort.
He finds himself in a very winnable contest this afternoon and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Mitchell Bell in the saddle.

This is his chance to claim a maiden race win.

Newcastle - Race 6 3:50pm AEST

No. 2 Arthur In Charge

This is one of the most open betting races of the day and there are a host of winning chances, but it is Arthur In Charge that offers value at his current price.

He has shown some genuine talent during his racing career to date and his barrier trial efforts since he returned to the races have been promising.

Tom Sherry in the saddle is a positive and he is another galloper that should get a lovely run in transit.

Newcastle - Race 7 4:25pm AEST

No. 6 Golwen

I really liked the way that Golwen got the job done at Kembla Grange last start and I think that he is a galloper that is capable of working his way through the grades.

The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but he does have tactical versatility and he has shown a lovely turn-of-foot.
