We’re back to Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday for our midweek Sydney metropolitan card.
Seven races will be run and won and you can find a preview for each, along with our Randwick-Kensington tips below.
A capacity field of two-year-old fillies will contest Race 1 and of those horses six will be on debut.
I am happy to watch this lot go around, with a view towards something later on.

It is a similar situation in Race 2, but I was impressed with what Jimmy’s Dream did on debut and I think that he can break his maiden.
The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained colt showed ability at the trials and franked that form with a smart run for second behind Pyrmont at Warwick Farm a couple of weeks ago.
Early favourite Camerlengo will instead step out at Gosford on Tuesday and with the benefit of his first run, Jimmy’s Dream looks tough to beat.

Al Snip will enjoy good improvement into her second campaign task and looms as a live each-way chance in Race 3 ($7 at publish).
The John O’Shea-trained filly hasn’t missed a place in five career starts and worked home well to fill the minors behind Spaceboy when resuming at Wyong.
She can slot in somewhere behind the pace from barrier 12 and with even luck, finish over the top of her rivals.

Darleb has been a model of consistency this preparation and strikes a winnable race at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday.
The Kris Lees-trained colt was an impressive winner in BM64 company at Wyong in late April and hasn’t missed a place in three subsequent appearances, including a credible second behind and impressive Travest at Warwick Farm last time out.
He looks to be at peak condition for this race and importantly, goes well on a heavy track.

Savigne will take winning form into the fifth in Sydney on Wednesday and is primed to make it two in a row.
The Ocean Park mare needed the run when she finished down the order at Warwick Farm when resuming but couldn’t have been more impressive last time out and will only improve for that effort.
She’s drawn ideally, weighted to win and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.

Baanone will take winning form into the penultimate race at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday and can make it two in a row at a lovely price ($9 at publish).
The Shocking gelding stripped fitter with a decent effort for fourth here in late May and proved far too good for a similar field at Canterbury last time out.
He’s another horse with good wet-track form and he’s drawn to receive a lovely run from barrier 5.

This is a wide-open contest and a tough way to end the day from a betting perspective, but a horse like L’cosmo looms as a live chance of winning at a price ($10 at publish).
The Chris Waller-trained filly finished second at each of her first two starts back from a spell before running fifth behind Fituese in the Listed Denise’s Joy Stakes.
She’s had two starts in the wake of that, and this does look to be one of her better chances of winning so far.
She has a fitness edge over several key rivals and I am happy to be with her.
