There are only two weeks left in the Super Rugby Australia regular season and we are set for two crucial games this weekend.

The Brumbies will have the chance to extend their lead on top of the ladder when they host the Western Force, while third spot will be on the line when the Rebels and the Waratahs do battle.

We have analysed both games set to take place this weekend and our complete 2020 Super Rugby Australia Round 9 tips can be found below.

Brumbies Vs Western Force

Friday 28 August, 7:05pm, GIO Stadium

It is no surprise that the Brumbies will go into this clash with the Western Force as dominant favourites.

The Brumbies bounced back from their defeat at the hands of the Rebels to score a comfortable win over the Waratahs and there is no doubt that they are the team to beat in this competition.

They beat the Force 24-0 when the teams met a month ago and the market suggests that we will see a similar result on Friday night.

The Western Force made a promising start to their Super Rugby return, but the wheels have started to fall off in recent weeks.

They went down 28-8 to the Waratahs and they were simply blown off the park against the Reds last weekend.

This is an even tougher assignment and another heavy defeat does look on the cards.

Rebels Vs Waratahs

Saturday 29 August, 7:15pm, Leichhardt Oval

This is a crucial game for both sides and the winning squad will finish the weekend in third place.

The Rebels went into the bye on the back of their worst performance of the season against the Reds, but they will still go into this clash as favourites.

They have comfortably won their two meetings with the Waratahs this season and they have won three of their past four games as favourites.

The Waratahs’ winning run came to an end with a flat effort against the Brumbies last weekend and they would need to improve on that performance to be any chance against the Rebels.

There is plenty to like about the Waratahs from a betting perspective.

They win when they are expected to, they are 3-2 as favourites, but they generally don’t get the job done as underdogs.

The Waratahs have won only one of their past eight games when giving away a start and I am happy to oppose them again in this encounter.
