Daily Racing Tips – Thursday 22nd October
Ballarat - Race 2 1:30pm AEDT
No. 1 Americain Angel
Americain Angel finished second behind Pride Of Jenni on debut at Mornington and there is no horse of that quality in this field.
The form coming out of that contest has been strong and a repeat of that effort would make her tough to beat – despite the wide barrier draw.
Ballarat - Race 3 2:00pm AEDT
No. 3 Hello Sunshine
Hello Sunshine made her racing debut with a promising second place finish at Kyneton and the form coming out of that race has been very strong.
She should take good improvement from that performance and she should have every possible chance from barrier five with Billy Egan in the saddle.
Ballarat - Race 4 2:30pm AEDT
No. 3 Don't Question Me
Don’t Question Me will return to the races in a winnable contest at Ballarat this afternoon.
She has shown some ability during her racing career to date and she finds herself in a weak contest.
Her fresh form is her best form and that will have her right in the mix.
Ballarat - Race 9 5:00pm AEDT
No. 12 Stay Gold
Stay Gold has only recorded one win from her eight race starts, but I am confident that she is a better mare than that record suggests.
She has generally raced in tougher company than this and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Daniel Moor in the saddle.
This isn’t the strongest race and she appeals at her current price.
