Daily Racing Tips – Kilmore Cup Day Special
Kilmore - Race 2 2:10pm AEDT
No. 5 Tom The Star
Tom The Star has raced well without winning throughout his racing career and it will be interesting to see how he performs for new trainer Matt Cumani.
This really isn’t the strongest race and on exposed form he has a clear class edge over the rest of this field.
Kilmore - Race 6 3:35pm AEDT
No. 3 Power Scheme
Power Scheme has gone to another level this campaign and there is no reason that he can’t score another race win in the Kilmore Cup.
He recorded two tough wins at Caulfield and Flemington before he was only narrowly denied by So Si Bon in the Eclipse Stakes last start.
This race is no tougher and he can return to winning form in the Kilmore Cup.
Kilmore - Race 7 4:10pm AEDT
No. 6 Hughes The Boss
Hughes The Boss doesn’t win out of turn, but he has an excellent chance to claim another race win.
He wasn’t beaten far in his two race starts at Ballarat this campaign and this race is a genuine drop in quality.
Barrier three is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.
Kilmore - Race 8 5:45pm AEDT
No. 2 Open Minded
Open Minded is excellent value to make a winning return to the races on Kilmore Cup Day.
He has recorded three wins from his six race starts and on exposed form he has a clear class edge over the rest of this field.
His first-up record is brilliant, he has two wins from as many starts, and I can’t believe the current odds available.
