Peter Moody’s 2021 Magic Millions Guineas Tips

The Magic Millions Guineas is one of the highlights of the day at the Gold Coast on Saturday and Peter Moody is confident that he has found the winner.

He has analysed the entire field and his complete Magic Millions Guineas tips can be found below.

Winner – Away Game

I’ve always had a huge opinion of the Away Game and she can make history by winning the Magic Millions Guineas after winning the Magic Millions Classic 12 months ago.

We all know how good she was as a two-year-old and I think it was better for her long-term prospects that she missed the 2020 Spring Racing Carnival.

Isotope may have beaten her first-up in the Gold Edition, but Away Game clearly has more upside to improve and she maps to get a lovely run in transit with Glen Boss in the saddle.

2nd – Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love might be the x-factor in the Magic Millions Guineas.

She wasn’t beaten far at Group 1 level in the Empire Rose Stakes on Victoria Derby Day and she was far too good for her rivals in the Gosford Guineas.

The All Too Hard filly still has the scope to improve and she will have every possible chance from barrier four.

3rd – Isotope

Isotope is obviously a talent filly, but I can’t get her as short as her current quote.

She was able to beat Away Game in the Gold Edition, but she did have a fitness edge over her rival and I don’t think she has as much upside heading into the Magic Millions Guineas.

4th – Aim

I think Aim is a much better chance than his current odds of $41 suggests.

He didn’t really come up during the Spring, but he has been gelded since then and his barrier trial ahead of this contest was excellent.

The wide barrier draw isn’t ideal, but he does have the benefit of James McDonald in the saddle.
