Ladbrokes Park will host an eight-race program on Wednesday, January 20.
The rail will remain in the true position around the entire course and at publish, the track is rated in the Good (4) range.
Race 1 - 3:40pm AEDT
Ladbrokes Split Multi Plate (1200m)
Ord has returned four competitive efforts since debuting and is ready to break his maiden at Ladbrokes Park this week.
The Lindsay Park-trained galloper has improved with each start, and only just missed winning here two back before filling the minors over 1440m at Caulfield last time out.
He is drawn to receive every hope today and on exposed form, is the runner to beat.

Clanbrooke Race Plate (1300m)
Media Statement hasn’t been seen at the races since September and has only made one competitive appearance, but I am happy to back her first-up at Ladbrokes Park this week.
The Press Statement filly raced greenly and finished down the order at Mornington, but there’s no doubt that she’ll have taken improvement for that experience, and she has reportedly flourished during her time away from the track.

The Big Screen Company Handicap (1400m)
This is a rise in class for Setanta, but he couldn’t have been more impressive first-up from a spell and he can win again.
The Fastnet Rock colt showed promise without breaking his maiden during his debut preparation but put paid to his rivals at The ‘Bool when fresh, winning by more than three lengths.
With improvement from that effort, he’ll take a power of beating again in something like this.

Ladbrokes Back Yourself Handicap (2400m)
Nordic Symphony has been a good horse for the Symon Wilde stable throughout her career and strikes a winnable race at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.
The Glass Harmonium mare finished second in both the Mortlake and Dunkeld Cups earlier this prep and has raced well in tougher contests since, finishing fifth in BM70 company at Flemington last time out.
She’s rock-hard fit and a repeat of her last effort would put her into the finish of this race.

Thoroughbred Club Handicap (1600m)
Prism couldn’t have gone closer without winning at her last two and gets another chance at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.
The All Too Hard mare doesn’t win out of turn, but she also rarely races poorly, and has found form around some quality gallopers this time in.
She’s rock-hard fit, drawn well and gets some relief in the weights with Will Price in the saddle.

Tile Importer Handicap (1200m)
It’sourtime has only made one appearance at the races so far, but he was an eye-catching winner on that occasion, and this looks a lovely opportunity for him to win again.
The Time For War gelding began awkwardly at Sale earlier this month, but settled into a nice rhythm before mustering a nice turn of foot to finish over the top of his rivals.
He can settle closer this week from barrier 6 and can fight out the finish again.

Race 7 - 7pm AEDT
Ladbrokes Easy Form Handicap (1300m)
Savalona has returned two smart efforts since debuting and can record another win at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday, at a lovely price ($8.50 at publish).
The Savabeel filly won on debut at Colac last month and filled the minors in Class 1 company at Geelong last time out.
Fitter third-up and stepping out in what is probably the most open race on Wednesday’s card, this looks a nice opportunity to race well in town.

Race 8 - 7:30pm AEDT
Ladbrokes Switch Handicap (1300m)
Need New Friends is unlucky not to have won a race this preparation, but she looks well placed to get one in the last at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.
The Shamus Award mare finished off her last campaign with a lovely win in BM64 company at Geelong, and flew home to only just miss when resuming at Kyneton.
Her runs have been spaced, and she was last seen finishing second behind Score at Caulfield on Boxing Day.
Any improvement on that effort would find her tough to beat in this race.
