Daily Racing Tips – Sunday 28th February

Ballarat - Race 5 3:45pm AEDT

No. 4 Minola

Minola will take good improvement from this run and will be better over further, but there is no doubt that she is the class horse in this field.

She has run well fresh in the past and she has scored two wins from her three race starts at Ballarat.

Barrier seven is ideal and she should have every possible chance in the run.

Ballarat - Race 6 4:20pm AEDT

No. 1 Rolling Moss

Rolling Moss is great value at his current quote of $7.50.

He returned to the races with a second place finish behind Foxy Lady at The Valley and this race is a genuine drop in quality,

Emily Brown can take him straight to the front in the early stages of this race and he will give his rivals something to chase.

Ballarat - Race 7 4:50pm AEDT

No. 4 Dominus

Dominus has joined the stable of Phillip Stokes and he made his racing debut for his new stable with a nice second place finish behind Naval Envoy at Ladbrokes Park Sandown.

He has always been a horse with ability and I am confident that he is a better horse than his current record of one win suggests.

This looks like the right race for him and he may never have a better chance to return to winning form.

Ballarat - Race 8 5:20pm AEDT

No. 2 Savvy Lad

Savvy Lad is well-placed to make a winning return to the races at Ballarat this afternoon.

He has generally raced in stronger company than this and he has run well without winning first-up in the past.

Barrier five is ideal and he should have every possible chance with Damien Oliver in the saddle.
