Daily Racing Tips – Friday 18th June

Geelong - Race 1 12:25pm AEST

No. 13 Flying Nostra

This is d-day for a number of horses in this field and it is Flying Nostra that represents value at her current quote.

Flying Nostra has always looked like a filly with decent ability and she has improved since she has been stepped out in trip.

This is far from the strongest race and she could prove to be the best stayer in this field.

Geelong - Race 5 2:30pm AEST

No. 4 Kanmoreu

Kanmoreu has raced well without winning during his racing career to date and he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Geelong this afternoon.

On exposed form he does look to have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field and he still has the scope to improve.

Damien Thornton can go forward from the wide barrier draw and he will give his rivals something to catch.

Geelong - Race 6 3:00pm AEST

No. 2 Garimpeiro

Garimpeiro may never have a better chance to return to winning form.

He has finished second in his two race starts to date this campaign and a repeat of either of those efforts would be good enough to win this contest.

Barrier three is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.

Geelong - Race 7 3:30pm AEST

No. 3 Pearlman

I am confident that Pearlman is a better horse than his record suggests and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form this afternoon.

This is a genuine drop in class after his third place finish at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start and that sort of effort would make him extremely tough to beat in this field.

Barrier three is ideal and he will have every possible chance with John Allen in the saddle.
