Daily Racing Tips – Saturday 17th July

Randwick - Race 1 11:05am AEST
No. 6 Honeycreeper

Honeycreeper has raced well without a huge amount of luck and on exposed form she does look to have a clear class edge over her rivals in this contest.

The Teofilo filly looks as though she will relish the step-up to 1400 metres and she will get a dream run in transit from barrier five with Rachel King in the saddle.

Randwick - Race 3 12:15pm AEST
No. 8 Gamboa

Fastconi doesn’t win out of turn, but trainer Chris Waller looks to have found a nice race for him.

There was plenty to like about the way that he put away his rivals at Canterbury earlier this campaign and he was only narrowly denied by The Big Easy at Rosehill last start.

Barrier five is perfect and he will have every possible chance in the run.

Randwick - Race 8 3:20pm AEST
No. 4 Oscar Zulu

Oscar Zulu has recorded three wins on the trot and he is well-placed to continue his winning ways.

He has improved each time that he has been seen at the races this campaign and he still has upside to go to another level.

The wet track will suit him and he will make his own luck right on the speed with Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle.

Flemington - Race 7 3:35pm AEST
No. 2 Express Pass

The stable of trainer Nick Ryan is absolutely flying at the moment and he can score another metropolitan winner with Express Pass.

The Wandjina gelding simply doesn’t produce a poor performance and he showed an outstanding turn-of-foot to win over this track and distance last start.

A repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat.
