Daily Racing Tips – Friday 23rd July

Tamworth - Race 2 1:10pm AEST

No. 2 Syzygy Stars

Syzygy Stars was impressive when winning on debut at Wyong last month and although she was only a narrow winner, they beat home third place by 1.5 lengths.

She was no match for them on the heavy surface at Warwick Farm last start but she will appreciate the big step back in class to country level in this event.

Tamworth - Race 4 2:25pm AEST

No. 11 Fu Ni

Fu Ni broke through for her maiden win at Eagle Farm last prep and then followed that up with a two and a half length victory at Lismore.

She was beaten just over two lengths when resuming at Muswellbrook and although the 1600m is short of her ideal distance, she can be competitive in this event on class alone.

The double figure odds represents good value.

Tamworth - Race 5 3:05pm AEST

No. 3 Polylithic

Polylithic won his only trial leading into his racing debut at Newcastle where he faded late in the race to finish third, beaten under a length.

This is a step back in grade for the three year old gelding and he will take plenty of benefit out of his first run and be fitter for this race.

Tamworth - Race 6 3:40pm AEST

No. 7 Who Runs The World

It took 11 attempts but three year old filly Who Runs The World broke through for her maiden race win to close out her last campaign.

That win came at Ballarat by a dominant 3.5 lengths over 1000m.

As a two year old she ran at Flemington and was beaten by the smart A Beautiful Night and has competed well at Morphettville in the past as well.
