Pakenham - Race 3 1:30pm AEST

No. 4 Stelvio

Stelvio started his racing career in New South Wales and has now been sent to Victoria for his Spring campaign.

The well-bred galloper, he is a son of Group 1 winner Guelph, showed good ability during his maiden racing preparation and on exposed form he does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field.

Barrier seven suits and he should have every possible chance in the run with Damien Oliver in the saddle.

Pakenham - Race 6 3:00pm AEST

No. 1 Heaven's Gift

The McEvoy stable have found a very winnable race for Heaven’s Gift and she has an excellent chance to return to winning form.

She has been racing well in tougher races than this one this campaign and she should now be at peak fitness fourth-up.

The Not A Single Doubt mare has drawn ideally in barrier two and it would be a surprise if she is not in the finish.

Pakenham - Race 7 3:30pm AEST

No. 1 Scarlett Heart

Scarlett Heart will need some luck in running from barrier 17, but I am confident that she is the class mare in this field.

She carried a big weight to win at Ballarat a couple of starts ago and she showed a nice turn-of-foot to finish in the placings last start.

I think that Heidi Gillie will settle her in the second half of the field, but she will be storming home late.

Pakenham - Race 8 4:00pm AEST

No. 6 Scientific

I am confident that Scientific is a better mare than her overall record suggests.

She has been racing in stronger company than this and there is no doubt that she does have speed.

Liam Riordan can ride her aggressively in the early stages of the race and she will give her rivals something to catch.
