Daily Racing Tips – Wednesday 18th August

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 2 1:00pm AEST
No. 5 Sandy Prince

Sandy Prince never gave his rivals a chance when he scored a maiden race win at Moe last start and it would not surprise if he was now able to go on with the job.

He has always shown good ability and he looks as though he will relish the step-up to 1400 metres.

Barrier two suits and he will get a lovely run in transit with Craig Williams in the saddle.

Ladbrokes Park Sandown - Race 7 3:55pm AEST
No. 4 Zoist

Zoist has recorded three wins from his past five race starts and he is well-placed to claim another victory at Ladbrokes Park Sandown this afternoon.

His form in South Australia this campaign has been excellent and the Zoustar gelding is a proven winner.

Barrier two is perfect for him and he will be able to make his own luck right on the speed with Madison Lloyd in the saddle.

Randwick-Kensington - Race 3 2:35pm AEST
No. 4 Super Effort

Super Effort is racing well and I am surprised that he is not a dominant favourite for this contest.

He returned to the races with a good win at Newcastle and he wasn’t disgraced behind Fastconi at Randwick last start.

This contest is a genuine drop in class and I am confident that he is the best horse in this field.

Randwick-Kensington - Race 7 4:55pm AEST
No. 8 Miss Dior

Miss Dior is the value runner in what is an open way to finish the day at Randwick.

She has performed well without winning in both of her race starts this campaign and she is ready for the step-up to 1100 metres.

Barrier five is perfect for her and she will make her own luck with Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle.
