Fine Ruby was finally able to score a maiden race win at Hawkesbury last start and it would not surprise to see him now string a few wins together.
He has always shown good ability without winning and the Rubick gelding still has a fair amount of upside.
Barrier four is perfect and having Nash Rawiller in the saddle is a big advantage.
Pacheco showed potential when he made his racing debut at Scone and he should take good improvement on that performance.
On exposed form, he does look to have a class edge over the rest of this field and there is no doubt that there is still upside there.
He will need some luck in running from barrier 11, but I still think that he is good enough to win this contest.
Jadida returned to the races with a maiden race win at Randwick and she is the value runner in an open race at Hawkesbury.
There was a lot to like about the way that she put away her rivals first-up and she should take good improvement from that run.
She maps to get a lovely run in transit with Rachel King in the saddle and she is outstanding value at her current quote.
Taikomochi is a horse that I have a very big opinion of and he is outstanding value to make a winning return to the races in the Rowley Mile.
The veteran gelding was excellent during his 2020 Spring Racing Carnival campaign and he always runs well first-up.
First-up last campaign he finished a close second in the Winter Stakes and a repeat of that effort in the Rowley Mile would have him right in the mix.
