Devonport - Race 5 3:11pm AEST

No. 1 Karnak Kid

I am confident that Karnak Kid is a better horse than his overall record suggests and this does look like a nice race for him.

He was unlucky when he was beaten last start and this race is no tougher.

Barrier two is ideal and he should have every possible chance in the run.

Devonport - Race 6 3:47pm AEST

No. 1 Gee Gee Goldenlass

Gee Gee Goldenlass had excuses when she was beaten last start and her win before that was strong.

Luck in running is going to be key in this contest and she will get a lovely run in transit from barrier four.

She seems to enjoy these shortcourse sprints and she can claim another race win.

Devonport - Race 7 4:22pm AEST

No. 2 Divisor

Divisor has improved each time that she has been seen at the races this campaign and she is well-placed to win third-up.

He has won at this track and distance in the past and he should have every possible chance in the run from the inside barrier.

Devonport - Race 8 5:04pm AEST

No. 2 Up Wind

Up Wind has an excellent record at Devonport and he has found himself in another winnable contest this afternoon.

He has recorded five wins and six placings from his 14 race starts at Devonport and he has a great record at this venue.

Barrier one is ideal and he is the class horse in this field.
