Devonport - Race 3 2:10pm AEST

No. 1 Chosen Eagle

Chosen Eagle is well-placed to make a winning start to his racing career at Devonport this afternoon.

His two barrier trials ahead of his racing debut have been excellent and he won a trial on the synthetic surface at Devonport at the end of last month.

Barrier five is ideal and he will have every possible chance from barrier five with David Pires in the saddle.

Devonport - Race 5 3:22pm AEST

No. 8 Tassie Miss

Tassie Miss may never have a better chance to score a maiden race win.

She has been thereabouts without winning throughout her racing career and she hasn’t had a huge amount of luck in running in her recent race starts.

Barrier one suits and she should have no excuses.

Devonport - Race 7 4:35pm AEST

No. 1 Holy Diamond

Holy Diamond doesn’t win out of turn, but this looks like a nice race for the I Am Invincible gelding.

He was a touch disappointing last start, but there was plenty to like about his first-up effort and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat.

Devonport - Race 9 5:12pm AEST

No. 6 Mywordis

Mywordis made a winning return to the races at this track last start and he has turned into a genuine Devonport specialist.

He has now recorded two wins from his five race starts at this track and distance and he has never missed the placings.

Barrier four is ideal and he can make it back-to-back wins.
