Caulfield - Race 8 4:30pm AEDT

No. 1 Anamoe

Anamoe lost no admirers with his fast-finishing second behind In The Congo in the Golden Rose and he is clearly the horse to beat in the Caulfield Guineas.

He has always looked like he would relish the step-up to a mile and he will now be at peak fitness third-up.

The wide barrier does make things interesting, but he has enough class to overcome that draw.

Caulfield - Race 10 4:35pm AEST

No. 5 Delphi

Delphi has improved each time that he has been seen at the races this campaign and he can return to winning form in the Herbert Power Stakes.

He was gallant in defeat behind Nonconformist in the MRC Foundation Plate and he will relish the step-up to 2400 metres.

Barrier five is ideal and he will have every possible chance in the run.

Randwick - Race 8 4:50pm AEDT

No. 1 Head Of State

Head Of State has always been a horse with plenty of ability and he lived up to his potential with a good win in the Gloaming Stakes.

He ran all the fastest closing sectionals in that race and he gives the impression that he 2000 metres will be ideal.

James McDonald in the saddle is a positive and he will be strong late.

Randwick - Race 9 5:30pm AEST

No. 1 Sweet Deal

There is no doubt that Sweet Deal will take benefit from this run, but she is still well and truly over the odds at her current quote.

She finished last campaign with a good third behind Tofane in the Tatt’s Tiara and she is never far away at this level.

Nash Rawiller can ride her aggressively from the wide barrier draw and she will be in the finish.
