Echuca - Race 3 1:30pm AEDT

No. 10 The Amazonian

The Amazonian is third-up and ready to win at Echuca this afternoon.

He hasn’t been beaten far in either of his race starts this campaign and the form around him has been strong.

Barrier four is perfect and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Craig Newitt in the saddle.

Echuca - Race 7 3:30pm AEDT

No. 4 Real Gun

Real Gun is deserving of his status as a clear favourite in this contest.

He has gone close without winning in his two race starts to date this campaign and this is a fairly weak race.

I am confident that he has more upside than the rest of this field and he can return to winning form.

Echuca - Race 8 4:00pm AEDT

No. 5 El Salto

El Salto could hardly have been more impressive over this track and distance last start and a repeat of that effort would make him very tough to beat.

He really seemed to relish the shortcourse sprint and it would not surprise to see him develop into a genuine 1000 metres specialist.

Patrick Moloney can ride him aggressively from the wide barrier draw and he will give his rivals something to catch.

Echuca - Race 9 4:50pm AEDT

No. 1 The Mobot

The Mobot is a proven weight-carrier and she can overcome a big weight to win again this afternoon.

The Uncle Mo mare is an extremely consistent performer and she simply never produces a poor race.

This is her pet trip and there is no doubt that she is the class horse in this field.
