Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday, 18th October

Grafton - Race 4 2:05pm AEDT
No. 6 Jabbar

Five year old gelding Jabbar has just three wins from 26 career race starts but he thrives here at Grafton.

He has a win and a second from two attempts at this track and distance including a dominant 2.6 length win here two starts back where they beat home the third horse by a further 2.8 lengths.

That win came on the good surface which he gets again today and he’s drawn to get a nice run in transit from barrier six.

Grafton - Race 5 2:40pm AEST
No. 3 Daltoro

The Australian Bloodstock owned Daltoro comes into the fifth event of the afternoon racing consistently placing in his last two attempts.

He has two wins and is yet to miss a place in three attempts here at Grafton and he looks well placed in this particular race.

He does his best work on a good track, has drawn well and there has been good early support in betting suggesting he’s ready to win.

Grafton - Race 6 3:20pm AEDT
No. 6 Spiele
Tip of the Day

The Kris Lees trained Spiele broke through for her maiden win last time out at her fifth career starts here at Grafton.

She appreciated the good surface at Lismore before that, finished second over 1100m and she should be ready to peak at her fourth run this prep.

She should settle just behind the speed from barrier two and will be tough to beat.

Grafton - Race 8 4:30pm AEDT
No. 2 Rose Bouquet

Rose Bouquet has been up for a long time but is racing really well right.

She looked the winner at the 250m marm here at Grafton last start before she was nabbed late but they had the rest covered by some margin.

She has placed in seven of 11 on a firm surface and and five of her last seven overall.

The wide barrier is of concern but we are getting a nice price for a mare that looks to have a class advantage over the majority of this field.
