Our full 2023 Easter Cup Day Preview can be found below.
Peter Moody saddles up four year old mare Foxicon in the opener and she looks well placed.
She won back to back races at The Valley by a combined 5.25 lengths to kick start this campaign before running into one better last time out.
This is her first start over 1200m but the apprentice will use the claim for some weight relief.

The McEvoy trained Naiconi is a talented filly who resumes in the Bill Collins with a lot of expectations.
She worked her way through the grades well last prep with two wins in a row before running into one better at Listed level to close out the prep.
She’s performed well fresh in the past and looks well placed.

I Am Unstoppable couldn’t have been much more impressive when scoring on debut by 1.7 lengths at Morphettville.
He won a trial leading into that first up assignment and with natural progression will be tough to beat again.

Danaustar was excellent when winning a benchmark 64 at Pakenham two back and while he was soundly beaten in open grade last start, he’ll appreciate the step back in grade for this event.
He has a tricky gate to navigate as well as a big weight but with a bit of luck in running he can run well at nice each way odds.

Our Heidi has been racing very consistently right throughout this prep and she has been placed in eight of 14 overall.
She was an impressive winner at The Valley last time out and if she carries that form on, with the fitness edge, she is right in this event.

Loco won his maiden by 3.5 lengths on debut at Pakenham before he stepped out at this track and distance last start finishing second.
They beat home the third horse by four length in that race but it’s clear this son of So You Think has above average ability.
Drawn well and well placed in this.

Clemenceau has been incredibly consistent over his 11 start career, placing 10 times.
He kick started this prep at Group 3 level in Sydney where he was beaten under two lengths and was then beaten by the barest of margins in the Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes at Rosehill.
Should be ready to peak at his third run, has drawn well in barrier three and will be required to carry just 54kg.

White Marlin is not only one of the best looking horses in Australian racing right now but also one of the most exciting.
The grey gelding is unbeaten in five career starts and this looks a perfect launching pad for another successful campaign.
He’s only a lightly raced five year old but the Waterhouse and Bott team are flying and their patience with the horse may just be rewarded with another win.

A tough way to end the day but let’s see if we can finish on a winning note.
The Peter Moody trained Daytona Bay is yet to win in three starts so far this prep but has been progressing nicely.
She’s won four of eight overall and will be ready to peak at this stage in her campaign.
This is her first go at 1600m but Luke Nolen can steer this mare to victory with a good run in transit.
