Great Barrier Reef Race Day Experience
Great Barrier Reef put in a great showing for the Ladbrokes Racing Club at his first-up outing when finishing second at Canterbury and it’s now time for him to head to the races again! The intention remains to head to Royal Randwick next Saturday, May 27.
He pulled up well from his run and has been pleasing his regular riders at Chris Waller Racing. He galloped last Saturday and will have a further solid gallop this Thursday, which will have his fitness levels where they need to be for raceday. He remains a happy horse and continues to have a good attitude towards his day-to-day routine.
Hounds looking to bounce back
Unfortunately, it was a weekend full of bad luck for our greyhounds, but we now turn our attention to this week!
Amendola returns to Albion Park over a far more suitable journey and looks well-suited to bounce back. Zipping Osti is looking to make amends at Wentworth Park, despite drawing poorly once again. He looks a major contender if he finds even luck! Meanwhile, Scofflaw, Barbeque Man and Carlecatup are all likely to be in action as well.
