The Meadows - Race 6 8:28pm AEST

No. 5 Funny Old Fellow

Funny Old Fellow was last seen finishing seventh in the Group 3 Warragul St Leger Final.

The Peter Craig-trained dog will appreciate the drop back to this class.

When he last raced in this company, he recorded back-to-back wins at Shepparton and Warragul in best of the night times.

No. 1 Lilly Intention

Lilly Intention has found the right race to record her fourth win.

The daughter of Hard Style Rico has struggled a touch in two recent fifth grade races so will appreciate coming back to a 0-4 wins race.

Just three starts ago, she won a similar race by a massive 9.1 lengths at Sandown over 595m.

She’s ideally drawn in box 1 and if she gets on the bunny early, they’ll struggle to run her down.

The Meadows - Race 9 9:36pm AEST

No. 8 Stomping

Stomping is building a nice career, particularly over this course and distance where he has won twice and placed three times from five starts.

Four starts ago the Michelle Mallia-Magri-trained dog led all the way from box 6 to win over this course and distance in a slick 29.91 seconds.

No other dog in this field has got close to running under 30 seconds here yet.

He has the speed to lead or settle close which will make him hard to beat.

The Meadows - Race 10 9:59pm AEST

No. 7 Rita Bale

Rita Bale hasn’t won since July but gets her chance to break through with a drop in class.

That win was over this course and distance in 30.28 seconds.

Four of her seven wins have come over this course and distance and if she can get near her best time of 30.03 seconds, they will be hard pressed to beat her.

She has the early speed to cross and lead from box 7.
