No. 2 Aston Ulysses
Aston Ulysses looks well placed in the opening heat of the Masters Meteors series.
The son of Aston Dee Bee proved too strong last start when running away for a three length win over the course and distance in 29.96 seconds.
He recorded his best time of 29.44 seconds here in April and has won five of nine starts over the course and distance.
He’ll appreciate jumping from box 2.

No. 1 Red Hot Mouse
Red Hot Mouse draws box 1 and is an absolute weapon from the inside draw, boasting an impressive record of six wins from nine starts.
The daughter of Fernando Bale enters this race coming off a three length win over 400m at Richmond where she ran the quickest time of the night.
This is the first time she has raced over 520m since May but she has a good record over the course and distance and has run sub 30 seconds.

No. 3 Connections
Connections should prove hard to beat in the third heat of the Masters Meteors.
The Michelle Sultana-trained dog has won 21 of 34 career starts including four of his past five.
He’s four months between runs but the last time we saw him he stopped the clock in 29.73 seconds when winning and defeating Aston Ulysses over this course and distance.
He should be able to lead from box 3 and be too strong in the run home.

No. 7 My Bandit
My Bandit was an impressive winner over this course and distance three starts back when stopping the clock in a sizzling 29.62 seconds.
The Anthony Lord-trained son of Fernando Bale is racing in good form and was only narrowly beaten out of this box here last start.
He is clearly the quickest dog in this field and if he gets clean air to wind up, he’ll take a tonne of stopping.
