Wentworth Park - Race 2 7:32pm AEDT

No. 3 Zipping Bentley

Zipping Bentley was run off the track on the first turn last start over this course and distance and that put pay to any chance he had of winning.

The son of Superior Panama had run well in his two starts prior to that.

He won well on debut before clocking 29.74 seconds when finishing second to Zipping Megatron in the Group 3 Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase Maiden Final.

He can bounce back to form here from box 3.

No. 1 Zipping Delvene

Zipping Delvene enters this race looking to make it three wins on the trot.

The daughter of Flying Ricciardo recorded a career best time of 29.84 seconds over this course and distance when winning by 4.5 lengths last start.

She has drawn box 1 and won well two starts back from the red in 29.94 seconds.

I’m expecting her to get on the arm and be hard to catch.

No. 7 Good Odds Atlas

Good Odds Atlas returns to Wentworth Park after finishing third in a heat of the Goulburn Cup last start.

The talented Fred Hurst-trained chaser has finished in the quinella in all four starts over this course and distance, breaking 30 seconds in three of those races.

If he repeats his winning effort in 29.74 seconds four starts ago, they may not get near him.

No. 5 Okey

Okey is a dog that has done the right thing by us on a number of occasions and I’m going to the well again with him.

The son of Bewildering is a short course speedster having won eight and placed five times from 13 starts over this course and distance.

Just last start he scorched the sand to win in 15.91 seconds which was the fifth time he’s run sub 16 seconds.

The squeeze box isn’t ideal but this speedster more times than not finds a way to win.
