No. 8 King Owen
King Owen didn’t have the best of luck exiting box 1 last start at The Meadows in a stronger race but his prior form was very good.
The son of Bernardo showed good speed to win by 3.75 lengths in 26.12 seconds over 460m at Geelong two starts back.
He can cross from box 8 to lead and can prove hard to beat in this grade.

No. 2 Shake It Off
Shake It Off is only lightly raced but has shown glimpses of ability throughout her five starts.
‘Tay-Tay’ won her second start at Warragul by a massive nine lengths before winning again at start number three at Traralgon.
Two starts back she ran well in her only previous start over this course and distance when finishing second in 30.19 seconds.
She has blistering early speed and should lead these for fun.

No. 8 Tan And Black
Tan And Black hasn’t won since June but he has found the right race to rectify that.
The son of My Redeemer hasn’t been far away in much stronger races including last start when just 1.25 lengths behind Ailee Bale.
He has the speed to cross from box 8 and run serious time.
He’s the one they have to beat.

No. 2 Make No Promise
Make No Promise is racing in consistent form with six placings from his past seven starts.
While he hasn’t won since clocking 29.81 seconds at The Meadows in July, he’s been competing in significantly stronger races.
The Group 1 placegetter looks too good for his rivals and could record a blistering time.
