No. 5 Love A Bourbski
Love A Bourbski showed an abundance of early speed on debut to lead over 460m here last start.
Unfortunately, his condition gave out late and he was run down to finish three lengths fourth.
He’ll take benefit from the hit out and will strip fitter second-up.
The drop back to 400m suits and he can lead from the squeeze box.

No. 7 Rooney Bale
Rooney Bale has finished in the placings six times from his 10 starts but is yet to win.
The son of Jarvis Bale gets his best chance to breakthrough here.
Last start he recorded his best time of 26.10 seconds over this course and distance.
If he runs close to that time, they won’t be able to beat him given no other dog in this field has got close to that time.

No. 2 Follow The Band
Follow The Band impressed when winning his debut race over 450m at Warrnambool last start.
The Daniel Gibbons-trained dog showed good early speed to take up the running from box 4 and proved too strong, drawing clear late to win by 4.5 lengths.
Unfortunately, luck in running didn’t go his way last start when well beaten at Ballarat.
He can bounce back to winning form from box 2.

No. 5 Koh Samui
Koh Samui has returned from a few months break in fine style.
The son of Aston Dee Bee was brilliant first-up when winning over 400m here by three lengths.
He followed that up with an equally impressive win at Bendigo over 425m last start.
He’s shown good box speed in both those wins so he should be able to cross and lead from box 5.
