Dapto - Race 7 9:04pm AEDT

No. 4 One Hot Bandit

One Hot Bandit steps up to 600m for the first time in his career but the way he races gives every indication that he’ll enjoy the trip.

Three starts back the Anthony Lord-trained dog finished off strongly for a two-length fourth to Jay Is Jay in the Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase Final over 520m at Wentworth Park.

He then won a heat of the Ladbrokes Goulburn Cup before running on for fourth in the Final.

He’s undefeated in two starts from box 4.

No. 1 Lady Stomp

Lady Stomp is ideally drawn in box 1 for this heat of the Ladbrokes Middle Distance Championship.

The daughter of Fernando Bale was very good last start when going down by the barest of margins when finishing second over this course and distance.

She has a great record from this box having won three of five starts when wearing the red rug.

One of those wins came five starts back when leading all the way over this course and distance in a best of the night 34.63 seconds.

If she finds the arm early, she’ll be hard to beat.

Dapto - Race 9 9:43pm AEDT

No. 6 Cawbourne Smithy

Cawbourne Smithy looks hard to beat if he can replicate his last start effort over this course and distance.

The lightly raced son of Orsen Allen was having his first look at Dapto but that didn’t stop him leading all the way in a slick 29.85 seconds.

He recorded a 5.37 second first split which is significantly quicker than what this field has produced so he should be able to overcome box 6 and give them something to catch.

No. 2 Beth Dutton

Beth Dutton is an extremely quick bitch that has won seven and placed in three others from 10 career starts.

The daughter of Aston Dee Bee clocked a best of the night 18.05 seconds when winning from this box at Richmond over 320m last start.

She’s undefeated in two starts over this course and distance boasting a best time of 16.85 seconds which was recorded five starts ago.

She has the ability to blast out of the boxes and put them away quickly.
