Ram Rocks was very good in his debut race at Sandown over 515m.
The Robert Mowat-trained dog settled handy before proving too strong in the run home to win in 29.75 seconds.
He’ll be better for the experience and should settle handy from the squeeze box.

No. 3 Here Comes Dezel
Here Comes Dezel has started his career in great style with two wins from as many starts.
Last start the son of Bernardo was brilliant, leading all the way over 525m at The Meadows for a 9.25 length win in 29.91 seconds.
He looks the likely leader again from box 3 and if it gets on the arm, he’ll be hard to beat.

No. 8 Isle Of Rose
Isle Of Rose is a New South Wales chaser that has won eight of eleven career starts.
The daughter of Barcia Bale was luckless in her first look around this track last start and will be better for the run.
Prior to that she had won three in a row at Wentworth Park where she ran sub 30 seconds in each race.
She has the early speed to cross from box 8.

No. 6 Fernando Phil
Fernando Phil has been excellent in his past two starts over this course and distance when finishing second to Mepunga Shine in both starts.
Last start the son of Fernando Bale was particularly impressive last start when jumping from box 8 to register a time of 30.01 seconds.
He starts from box 6 and won when wearing the green rug at Geelong in September.
If he avoids trouble in the first turn, he’ll be strong late and hard to hold out.
