Richmond - Race 2 7:24pm AEDT

No. 7 Zipping Chumley

Zipping Chumley has started his career in good style with two wins from his four starts.

The son of Zipping Garth was a strong all the way winner in 30.26 seconds over 520m at Wentworth Park last start.

In his only previous start over this course and distance he was an all the way winner, stopping the clock in 30 seconds neat.

This is a competitive race, but he has the early speed to cross from box 7 and give this a real shake.

No. 4 Luai Banner

Luai Banner loves this course and distance with two wins from as many starts.

The son of Feral Franky exited this box like a rocket last start to lead all the way in a best of the night 29.76 seconds.

There doesn’t look to be much speed drawn to his inside so he should be able to burn them off and get on the arm.

No. 4 Charlee’s Tommy

Charlee’s Tommy impressed in his first look at this course and distance two starts back.

The son of Tommy Shelby led all the way in a quick 35.58 seconds.

Last start he led early but was unable to match motors with Zipping Ronaldo when finishing second by three lengths.

He should lead this field comfortably which will make him hard to run down.

Richmond - Race 8 9:24pm AEDT

No. 4 Zipping Ronaldo

Zipping Ronaldo looks well placed to take this out after winning both his starts over this course and distance.

The Melinda Finn-trained proved too strong two starts back when clocking 35.76 seconds in his first look at 622m here before backing that impressive effort up with another win last start in 35.79 seconds.

This is tougher but he looks to have plenty of improvement to come.

The vacant box to his inside helps and it should see him settle close before launching late.
