No. 1 Overflow Beau

Overflow Beau ventures south, fresh off an Group 3 win at Albion Park.

The Craig Chappelow-trained son of Fernando Bale is building a nice career having won eight of 13 starts.

He’s a regular sub 30 second runner at Wentworth Park and looks well drawn in box 1.

The Meadows - Race 6 8:19pm AEDT

No. 1 Tim Zoo

Tim Zoo looks well placed in the second heat of the Silver Chief.

The Jason Thompson-trained speedster had no luck in the Melbourne Cup Final last start when finishing sixth.

He can bounce back here from box 1 where he won his only previous start from two starts back in the Melbourne Cup heats.

He has the early speed to get on the arm and give them a chasing lesson.

The Meadows - Race 8 9:00pm AEDT

No. 6 Morton

Morton has an impeccable record over this course and distance having won six of eight starts.

The son of Tommy Shelby ran a huge race last start from this box to defeat a class field in 30.01 seconds.

He boasts a personal best time of 29.55 seconds which if he gets anywhere near, he’ll be near impossible to beat.

He should clear them early and prove hard to catch.

The Meadows - Race 10 9:38pm AEDT

No. 1 Rocket Riot

Rocket Riot is a lethal beginner and looks hard to beat from box 1.

The Jason Thompson-trained dog is having his first start over this course and distance but is a proven performer having won 11 of 19 starts.

He was last seen leading and being run down late when third in a heat of the Melbourne Cup.

This race looks more to his liking and he should prove tough to beat.
