The Martin Hallinan-trained dog enters this race following a last start fifth in the Ladbrokes Christmas Gift Final at Wentworth Park where he broke 30 seconds.
Last preparation he stopped the clock in 29.69 seconds when winning over 520m at Wentworth Park so the old boy still has some dash about him.
The Group 1 finalist owns a best time of 29.59 seconds over the course and distance.

Gets Late Early has been scorching the Richmond sand lately with four wins from her past six starts.
The Melinda Finn-trained bitch has regularly been breaking 30 seconds including a sizzling 29.79 seconds after exiting box 1.
She clocked 29.81 seconds last Wednesday from box 8 when a close second but draws much better in box 3 tonight.
If she gets on the arm early, they will be hard pressed to run her down.

Nangar Lucy took on this middle distance trip for the first time last Wednesday and handled it like the professional she is.
The daughter of Fernando Bale went straight to the front and dashed away for a 4.5 length win in 35.47 seconds.
The Group 1 winner looks well placed in this Grade 5 final and will be better for last week’s experience.
She looks awfully hard to beat.
