No. 3 Isle Of Rose

Isle Of Rose returns to Wentworth Park after a successful Victorian campaign that saw her win the Group 2 Laurels Classic Final.

The Troy McDonald-trained bitch led all the way at Sandown to easily win in 29.55 seconds.

She loves this course and distance having won three of four starts including five starts back when exiting box 5 and clocking 29.78 seconds.

From box 3 she can lead into the first turn and give them something to catch.

No. 8 Nangar Larry

Nangar Larry enters this heat of the Ladbrokes Paws Of Thunder in terrific form.

The son of Shima Shine recorded a career best of 29.60 seconds over this course and distance last start when winning by 4.25 lengths last start.

That was his third win a row and second here.

He’s undefeated in three starts from box 8 so I’m expecting him to charge across and get on the arm.

No. 4 Zipping Novak

Zipping Novak makes his return to racing after having to be withdrawn from the Gosford Gold Cup Final due to a suspected spider bite.

The Jason Magri-trained speedster would have been a red hot chance given he recorded the fastest heat time in 29.03 seconds.

He boasts nine wins over this course and distance with his last victory coming here in October when he stopped the clock in a slick 29.49 seconds.

If he’s raring to go, he should be awfully hard to beat.

No. 1 My Hepburn

My Hepburn enters this heat of the Ladbrokes Paws Of Thunder on the back of a third place finish in the Gosford Gold Cup.

The daughter of Bernardo won her heat of that series two starts back when leading all the way in a very quick 29.22 seconds.

Her early box speed and the lack thereof from her rivals makes her the one to beat here out of the inside box.
