Gosford - Race 4 8:05pm AEST

No. 3 Gambino

Gambino will appreciate the drop in class after finishing in the placings in three consecutive races at Richmond in a Free-For-All and two 3rd/4th Grades.

Four starts back the son of Catch The Thief won a 4th/5th Grade over 324m at Richmond in 17.60 seconds.

While most of his racing has been at Richmond he did win early in his career over this course and distance in 22.21 seconds when exiting box 2.

A repeat of that should see him winning this.

Gosford - Race 7 9:13pm AEST

No. 4 Wallacia Mist

Wallacia Mist will appreciate returning to this grade race after finishing at the tail of her heat of the Cyndie’s Magic series at Albion Park last start.

The Luke Brown-trained bitch won her only start over this course and distance two starts back when leading all the way for a 9.75 length win in a slick time of 34.56 seconds.

That time is significantly quicker than what her rivals have been able to produce.

She can rip off a quick first sectional so if she gets on the arm, they will be hard pressed to run her down.

Gosford - Race 9 9:49pm AEST

No. 1 Miss Louella

Miss Louella is yet to win in five starts over this course and distance but gets her best chance to break through here.

The Carole Eaton-trained bitch arrives here in good form with four placings and a win from her past five starts.

Just two starts back she clocked 29.90 seconds when winning over 515m at The Gardens.

She has won two of three starts when jumping from box 1 and I’m expecting her to get on the lure early and go all the way.

Gosford - Race 10 10:09pm AEST

No. 4 Louella Magic

Louella Magic ventures to Gosford for the first time and is looking to keep her unbeaten record intact.

The daughter of Aussie Infrared showed excellent box speed to lead all the way on debut at The Gardens.

She then jumped well at her next start over 400m at The Gardens but this time showed good strength as well to race away and win in 22.90 seconds which was just outside the best of the night time.

Box 4 is not ideal, but she has the necessary speed to get on the arm and lead this field.
