Albury - Race 1 12:45pm AEST

No. 1 Sound Of Jura

Sound Of Jura has improved with each run this preparation and looks set for a peak performance fourth-up.

The Team Hayes-trained gelding worked to the line strongly over 1600m at Swan Hill last start to finish two lengths fourth.

He’s drawn to get a lovely run for Cory Parish and looks hard to beat.

Albury - Race 2 1:20pm AEST

No. 2 Read My Lips

Read My Lips ran super last start over 1000m here to finish second.

The son of Rubick recovered from a slow getaway to weave a passage in the straight to finish off nicely to miss by a head.

That was just his second run back following a 60-week spell so he’ll take great benefit from the run and strip fitter third-up.

From the inside barrier he should enjoy the run of the race.

Albury - Race 6 3:45pm AEST

No. 3 Starlight Girl

Starlight Girl has been in great form since moving from the Waterhouse and Bott stable to Matthew Kelley.

The Zoustar filly was run down late first-up after a yearlong break to finish a neck second.

She then won her next start at Queanbeyan by 2.8 lengths before leading all the way to win easily over 1000m at Goulburn last start.

She possesses the early speed to cross and lead all the way.

Albury - Race 7 4:20pm AEST

No. 2 All Astern

All Astern disappointed at the end of last preparation when finishing well down the track in a Highway Handicap and a Benchmark 58 Handicap.

Nick Olive sent her for a spell following those runs and it worked wonders as she returned in great fettle last start over this course and distance.

She settled on pace and fought bravely, but condition gave out late and she finished a neck second.

She’ll strip fitter and has won both her previous second-up races.
