No. 9 Miss Fennell

Miss Fennell was scratched from a winnable race on Sunday at Moruya in preference of this race so that has to be respected.

The Press Statement filly debuted over this course and distance in July where she found the line strongly after being held up to finish a half-length second.

She was sent to the paddock after that run and resume here on the back of a nice trial where she hit the line hard.

A solid tempo will aid her cause and she looks well placed in this field.

No. 2 Prince Of Helena

Prince Of Helena is racing in great form and will find this a touch easier than his past two races.

The Craig Weeding-trained gelding showed plenty of fight two starts back in the Tatura Cup when coming under seige in front a long way out but to his credit he hung on to finish a length second.

Last start he chased strongly to finish 1.5 lengths second in the Wodonga Cup.

The 3kg claim helps and he maps to get a beautiful run.

Wagga Riverside - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT
No. 3 Perigean

Perigean was heavily backed in his first start for Danielle Seib last start at Canberra.

The former Tony Gollan-trained gelding was a consistent performer in Queensland and justified the short quote to storm home and win the 1000m contest.

He’ll strip fitter second-up and did run well for second when having his second run back last preparation.

He maps to get the run of the race from barrier 1 for Pierre Boudvillain who rode last start.

Wagga Riverside - Race 8 5:05pm AEDT
No. 10 Master Of Disguise

Master Of Disguise has come back this preparation in great form.

The Danielle Seib-trained filly tried hard first-up when finishing 3.5 lengths second over 1000m at Canberra but went to another level last start.

She led over 1175m at Albury before giving her rivals the slip in the straight to dash clear for an arrogant 4.9 length win.

While that was a maiden, this looks no harder and she’s already scared off a third of the field.
