The venerable Torrey Pines in San Diego hosts the Farmers Insurance Open, an event that has seen the likes of Tiger, Phil, Bubba, Rahm, J-Day, Rose, Reed and Homa win at the major course this century.

BEST BET
JASON DAY
Jason Day is a two-time winner of the Farmers Insurance Open and looks a great hope in a field that looks wide open.
Day is in great nick, coming off a T-3 at The American Express and he now has seven Top 25 finishes including three Top 10s in his last nine starts.
Outside of his two wins he has six more Top 10 finishes, not to mention he was a Top 10 putter on Tour last year and with sound form at the Genesis, finishing Top 10 the last two seasons, he is a super price.
BEST VALUE
TAYLOR PENDRITH
Canadian Taylor Pendrith profiles beautifully for this and will have a big tournament.
Ranks fourth in Putting Average, fifth in Strokes Gained: Putting, 10th in Driving Distance and 14th in Par 5 Scoring.
His form is really good with nine Top 25s in his last 10 starts and finished T-9 here last year.
He can absolutely win his second PGA Tour tourney.
AARON RAI
Englishman Aaron Rai continues to be one of the most underrated players on the PGA Tour and he has another win coming soon.
In his last 15 tournaments, he has 11 Top 25 finishes including a win at the Wyndham and four Top 7 finishes including the Scottish Open and BMW PGA Championship.
He has a T-6 here back in 2022 and profiles nicely, ranking seventh in Bogey Avoidance, ninth in GIR and also in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green.
BEST ROUGHIES
ANDREW NOVAK
Handy and unassuming type who looks a nice runner to finish in the Top 20 at Torrey Pines.
Posted seven Top 16 finishes last season and did his best work early in the season.
Ranks 10th in Bogey Avoidance and 13th in GIR and finished eighth in Phoenix last year.
PIERCESON COODY
Coody is mammoth odds to win this week and his PGA Tour record explains why. He did not get his Tour card back at Q-school this year and he struggled much of last season.
When he is on though he can put himself in the mix with four Top 12 finishes the last nine months including two in his last four starts.
Happy to have a shekel on him.
TOP ARGENTINIAN
ALEJANDRO TOSTI
This is a head-to-head market with Emiliano Grillo but keen on Tosti.
Torrey Pines suits bombers and Tosti ranks fifth in Driving Distance and 11th in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee.
TOP ASIAN
RICO HOEY
Hideki is the favourite to win this market but don’t sleep on bomber Rico Hoey.
Hoey ranks ninth in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee and seventh in Par 5 Scoring.
Big value play.
