Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 18th March

See below for our expert Tuesday daily racing tips for March 18th including Bendigo and Hawkesbury best bets!

Hawkesbury - Race 3 3:05pm AEDT
No. 5 Sosueme

Sosueme debuts here at Hawkesbury and has looked good in three trials across three preparations.

On each occasion the Capitalist filly has settled on speed and cruised to the line to either win or finish second.

She was well backed when markets opened.

Bendigo - Race 5 3:30pm AEDT
No. 7 Yachiyo
Tip of the Day

Yachiyo impressed two starts ago when storming home down the outside to win a heat of the Future Stars at Pakenham by 2.3 lengths.

The Price & Kent Jnr-trained filly then ran super last start in the final of the Future Star Series where after being held up in the straight, she ran on well to finish 1.1 lengths third.

She was five weeks between runs so will have come on nicely since then.

The rise to a mile looks ideal.

Hawkesbury - Race 5 3:40pm AEDT
No. 7 Cigar Man

Cigar Man impressed last start when letting down powerfully to win by just over half a length at Wyong over a mile.

That was just the Neasham & Archibald-trained gelding’s second start, so he has plenty of upside.

The rise in trip should suit given the way he powered through the line.

He maps to get a great run from an inside draw for Adam Hyeronimus.

Bendigo - Race 6 4:00pm AEDT
No. 1 Sorel Rising

Sorel Rising produced an eyecatcher when resuming off a yearlong break over 1000m at Bendigo last start.

The Brent Stanley-trained son of Russian Revolution let down powerfully from the back to finish a nose second.

He was clearly not suited by the trip and will appreciate the rise to 1300m which he won his only previous race over at this track.

He looks hard to beat dropping back in class.
