It’s Thursday night so you all know that means, I’m back for another Albion Park Greyhounds preview

I’ve dissected the form and have found several dishlickers that I’m keen to get around.

Let’s stop wasting time and get into my Albion Park best bets and tips!

Race 1 - 7:19pm AEDT

Box 1 Photography Novice 520m

Moet Magic can get our Albion Park Greyhounds preview off to a winning start in this Novice over 520m.

The Ray Burman-trained son of Aston Rupee brings superior form to this race having won once and finished runner-up five times in his six starts.

The G3 Vince Curry Memorial Final runner-up clocked a personal best over this course and distance last start when going down by a half-length in 30.01 seconds.

He should get on the arm from box 1 and salute as our best bet of the night.

Ladbrokes Black Book Free For All 710m

This 710m FFA looks another match race between Maid In Space and Akela Ola.

I’m going with Akela Ola who has had the better of Maid In Space in four of their past six meetings including over this course and distance last Thursday.

The daughter of Ballymac Kingdom flew out of box 2 to lead and found plenty when challenged by Maid In Space late to win in 41.96 seconds.

While she’s never won from box 8, she can lead this field and was a box 7 winner recently in 41.88 seconds.

Race 3 - 7:58pm AEDT

Garrard's Horse and Hound 5th Grade 600m

Ace’s Chance returned from a short break in fine style over this course and distance last start.

The Jeff Crawford-trained dog found the front in the run home but tired in the closing stages to dead heat with Garrison in a personal best of 34.82 seconds.

He’ll have taken benefit from the hit out and given he’s won over 710m, he’ll be stronger late.

He’s drawn to get a beautiful run.

Race 4 - 8:19pm AEDT

Sky Racing 5th Grade Heat 520m

Uno Nangar is the class chaser in this field and if she produces her best, she should be winning.

The daughter of Primo Uno was last seen winning over 520m at Ipswich but will appreciate returning to Albion Park given he’s won eight of 12 races over the distance.

That includes four starts ago when winning from this box in 30.04 seconds as well a personal best of 29.80 seconds which she set in November when winning a heat of the Bogie Leigh Futurity.

She can be a step slow at box rise but on her best jump, she leads this field and goes all the way.

Rosewood Veterinary Service M5 520m

We were with Anna Bella in last Thursday’s Albion Park Greyhounds Preview when she showed excellent early speed to lead and hold on to win in 30.37 seconds and I’m sticking fat.

The daughter of Aussie Infrared tried hard over this course and distance two starts ago but just couldn’t get in from box 8 early and finished third in a personal best of 30.32 seconds.

Three starts back, she settled second before motoring home to win in 30.44 seconds.

She’s a consistent chaser and should enjoy a great run from box 2.

I’d have more confidence if Mean Girl had drawn a better box but we have to play the cards we’re dealt.

The daughter of Flying Ricciardo drew box 8, as she does here, last week over this course and distance and never got on the track but to her credit she never gave up and finished third to Anna Bella in 30.42 seconds.

While her last win was at Ipswich in October, she hasn’t been far away in recent races.

This isn’t the strongest Masters field so with a bit of luck from the outside draw she can fight out the finish.

Race 7 - 9:19pm AEDT

Ladbrokes Racing Club 5th Grade Heat 520m

Daysea’s Chief looks well placed dropping back to this Fifth Grade over 520m.

The Sennachie chaser motored home last start over this course and distance to finish third to Danger Zone in 30.03 seconds.

That was his second run back from a short break so he should be close to peak fitness now.

Race 8 - 9:40pm AEDT

Gorski Semi Tippers 3rd/4th Grade 520m

Trapper Tears produced a career best over this course and distance when winning last start.

The son of Goodesy settled midfield before storming home to charge past Super Scrub and win by 2.25 lengths in 29.81 seconds.

He meets Super Scrub again, but I want to be with this guy as he is racing in good form having broken 30 seconds just five starts ago and his main rival appears better over shorter trips.

He just needs to avoid trouble in the run so that he can run over the top of them late.

Race 9 - 9:59pm AEDT

Pacers and Chasers Bistro 5th Grade 520m

Blue Art is low flying and is looking for his sixth win in a row.

The Robert Ayres-trained son of Tommy Shelby had been winning in quick times over shorter trips but handled the rise to this course and distance beautifully last start.

He mustered speed quickly to lead and was never headed, working strongly to the line to win in 30.12 seconds.

With the 1 box vacant, he should be able to get on the arm.

He looks like one of the better bets in my Albion Park Greyhounds preview.

Race 10 - 10:18pm AEDT

Aspley Leagues Club 5th Grade 520m

Brunswick Flyer returns to the races for the first time since finishing a close second over 600m here in November.

The Zambora Brockie dog has a very good record over this course and distance having won six and placed in four from 10 starts.

While he has never started from box 8 before, he has registered some decent times over the course and distance when exiting box 7.

He isn’t the quickest of beginners, but he will be storming home and should be able to run over the top of this field.
