I’m back for another Albion Park Greyhounds preview looking to keep my hot run of finding winners going at ‘The Creek’ this Thursday night!

11 races are scheduled for decision and my best bets come up in the early races so hopefully we can build a bank and play from in front.

Race 1 - 7:13pm AEDT

Garrard's Horse and Hound 6th Grade 520m

Moet Magic can get our Albion Park Greyhounds preview off to a winning start in this 6th Grade over 520m.

The Ray Burman-trained son of Aston Rupee brings superior form to this race having won once and finished runner-up six times in his seven starts.

The G3 Vince Curry Memorial Final runner-up clocked a personal best over this course and distance two starts back when going down by a half-length in 30.01 seconds.

It was a similar story last start when flying out of the lids and leading all the way until he was run down in closing stages to finish second in 30.11 seconds.

He is blessed with excellent early speed so should be able to cross and lead from box 6.

2 Units – Moet Magic (6)

Race 2 - 7:34pm AEDT

Ladbrokes Black Book 5th/6th Grade 600m

Plum Tuckered looks a good chance in this fairly moderate 600m 5th and 6th Grade.

The Tony Apap-trained daughter of Fernando Bale returned from a break four starts ago with a strong win in 29.96 seconds over 520m here.

The veteran chaser boasts a personal best over this course and distance of 34.76 seconds which she set in May last year, but she has run sub 35 seconds since and should be at peak fitness now.

She has a good record from box 4 and has won more races while wearing the blue rug than some of her rivals have overall.

1 Unit – Plum Tuckered (4)

Race 3 - 7:55pm AEDT

Box 1 Photography 5th Grade 520m

Two Cent Tilly produced her best career result last start over this course and distance.

Despite being unwanted by the market, the daughter of Aston Rupee charged home to run down Moet Magic and win by just under a length in 30.06 seconds.

She clocked 5.57 seconds to the first marker last start and a repeat of that should see her leading or stalking.

In either scenario, she looks like the one they have to beat.

1 Unit – Two Cent Tilly (3)

Race 4 - 8:13pm AEDT

Sky Racing 5th Grade 520m

This is a weak 5th Grade and frankly any dog in the race could come away with the win.

Jayson Bull hasn’t had the best of luck in his past two starts when copping early checks.

The Nicole Connell-trained son of Sennachie ran well three starts ago when finishing second over this course and distance in 30.45 seconds.

With even luck he can fight out the finish.

1 Unit – Jayson Bull (3)

Race 5 - 8:34pm AEDT

Rosewood Veterinary Service 5th Grade 520m

Ruin Art was only fair to begin from the squeeze box last start over this course and distance and that put pay to his chances.

The Tony Apap-trained dog won back-to-back races prior to that over 520m at Ipswich where he led all the way on both occasions in 30.15 seconds and a best of the night 30.33 seconds.

He enjoys racing here and boasts a personal best of 29.99 seconds which he set just five starts ago.

While he is yet to win from box 7, he has the speed to cross and lead.

2 Units – Ruin Art (7)

Race 6 - 8:55pm AEDT

Bird is the Word 5th Grade 520m

Backcreek Benny is racing in a purple patch of form with wins in each of his past five races and is the best bet in my Albion Park Greyhounds Preview.

The Selena Zammit-trained dog has been racing and winning over 600m in his past four starts but he produced a personal best over this course and distance in his win five starts ago.

He produced an amazing performance that night to storm home and win in 29.75 seconds after entering the first bend last after a slow start.

He’s not the quickest of beginners, so the outside box will allow him to build momentum before charging late.

2 Units – Backcreek Benny (8)

Race 7 - 9:13pm AEDT

Ladbrokes Racing Club OPEN 710m

Ace’s Chance looks ready for the rise to this distance after two very good runs back from a spell.

The Jeff Crawford-trained dog found the front in the run home but tired in the closing stages to dead heat with Garrison two starts ago before giving them a chasing lesson last start over 600m here when setting a personal best of 34.75 seconds in a nine-length romp.

Given how strong he was through the second half of the race, the rise in distance suits and it is a course and distance he has never been out of the top three over.

He recorded his personal best of 41.91 seconds when jumping from box 1 so the draw suits.

1 Unit – Ace’s Chance (1)

Race 8 - 9:34pm AEDT

Gorski Semi Tippers 5th Grade Final 5th Grade 520m

Uno Nangar was the fastest qualifier for this 5th Grade Final.

The Primo Uno bitch was third into the first bend but railed like a demon to take the lead before powering away to win in 29.72 seconds.

She boasts an amazing record over this course and distance of nine wins from 13 starts and has run 29.8 seconds on two other occasions.

With a clear run, she should be hard to hold out.

1 Unit – Uno Nangar (6)

Race 9 - 9:58pm AEDT

Pacers and Chasers Bistro 3rd/4th Grade 520m

Trapper Tears was a touch slow last start and copped a check in the first turn but ran home strongly to finish fourth over this course and distance.

The start prior, the son of Goodesy powered home to run down Super Scrub and win in 29.81 seconds.

The small field is to his advantage as it allows him to settle not far off them before striking when Super Scrub gets tired.

2 Units – Trapper Tears (6)

Race 10 - 10:20pm AEDT

Aspley Leagues Club M5 520m

This is a very even Masters race over 520m, but Seaway Flyer should give us a run for our money as a value selection in our Albion Park Greyhounds preview.

The son of Orsen Allen was doing his best work late after missing the start to finish second in 30.29 seconds two starts ago.

He bounced back last start when charging around the leaders to win in 30.31 seconds over this course and distance.

If he’s in striking distance on the home turn, he’ll take some stopping.

1 Unit – Seaway Flyer (3)

Race 11 - 10:43pm AEDT

Sennachie @ Stud - Steve White M5 520m

Sirius Zoe raced wide throughout when having her first start over this course and distance last start but still fought on well to finish third to Seaway Flyer in 30.53 seconds.

It’s been a long time between drinks for many of these Masters dogs, but not so for the daughter of Zambora Brockie who won just four starts ago at Ipswich over 520m in 30.72 seconds.

She led on that occasion so has the ability to lead this field or settle handy.

1 Unit – Sirius Zoe (3)
