HEADBANGER is a fit horse and gets another great chance to win at Cranbourne this afternoon.
Having broken her maiden in dominant fashion here two starts back, Headbanger took up the running at Flemington last time out and was ultimately knocked off in what was a race suited to swoopers.
In peak order and back into a race of this quality, I think she’s well placed.

OVERACTIVE is second up and primed to strike at Cranbourne.
The Awtaad gelding turned in some fine performances in metro company last time in, while he dusted off the cobwebs with a fine effort to finish fourth in BM66 company at Sandown.
With natural improvement and getting out in trip, something like this looks winnable.

The Enver Jusufovic yard is in fine form and PHILOSOPHER can return the stable another win in tonight’s Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge.
The Zoustar gelding mixed his firm through spring and summer, but two runs back from a freshen up this time have been good, particularly his impressive win over 1000m here last time out.
In peak order and with options in the run from the rails draw, I’m confident he can go on with it.

Another winning chance for EJ at Cranbourne tonight is KYLE in the last.
Kyle finished on the placegetters’ heels in races at Seymour and here at Cranbourne earlier this prep, while he was only denied by a smart Escarpa over this route in late January.
He didn’t leave the stalls last time out but has since trialled up well, and he can bounce back in something like this.
