COMPENSATION is second up and open to plenty of improvement at Rosehill today.
Having shown good ability at the trials, Compensation was sent off an odds-on favourite at Warwick Farm last month but ultimately finished a little over two lengths third.
I’m expecting good improvement for that experience and on exposed form, he looks hard to beat today.

KOOLIBAH takes winning form into another nice race at Rosehill today.
The Kermadec mare has improved noticeably with each of three runs since debuting, culminating in a dominant maiden win at Doomben last time out.
This is harder, but she’s still got plenty of upside and with James McDonald engaged today, she can go on with it.

BEV’S NINE puts an unbeaten record on the line at Rosehill today.
The Shalaa gelding has recorded five wins from as many starts and kicked clear to win a strong BM78 contest at Canterbury last time out.
He’s been freshened and sent back to the trials since that race, and James McDonald understandably retains the ride this afternoon.

JELLICIOUS resumes in a winnable race at Rosehill.
We haven’t seen Jellicious at the races since November, but she absolutely flies fresh and won each of her first three runs back in the spring.
She’s had the benefit of a couple of trials ahead of today’s return and gets some relief in the weights under Siena Grima.
