Start the week right at The Triangle, with Redcliffe expert Oli Cownie breaking down Monday night’s eight-race card.
ROSIES BOY (1) drew poorly last time out and was shuffled back in the run before getting into fifth late behind Ascot Annie and One Last Roll. He draws to have options in this race from a good draw. He has led and won previously and may elect to hold the lead in the early stages.
ROLLING BONUS (4) ran a good race at Albion Park four starts ago behind Princess Arna. He drew poorly last time out and was running on late to not be beaten far behind AMillionchances. He draws awkwardly but should run well.
ONE LAST ROLL (2) was able to find the front last time out at this track over the 1780 when being run down late by Ascot Annie. He draws well again in this race and with a similar effort to last start he should run well again.
LULU LUCIFER (7) should get a good run through behind ROSIES BOY (1) who is likely to be keen to hold a forward position in the early stages. She scored back to back wins two and three starts ago and is racing in good form.
SELECTIONS: ROSIES BOY (1), ROLLING BONUS (4), ONE LAST ROLL (2), LULU LUCIFER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE LAST ROLL (2) to win.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1) was able to find the lead early last time out and took them all the way scoring an easy win. He draws to be able to drive through and lead again in this race and is likely to be hard to run down off his latest effort.
MYSTICALFANTASY (7) should get a good run through behind the likely leader Captain Oh Captain. She led last time out and was beaten a long way but she may just be better suited driven with a sit. She can bounce back.
FLY BURRA (6) continues to race well and just hasn’t had much luck in recent outings. He loomed up strongly last time out before just peaking on his run and finishing fourth behind Ascot Annie after sitting without cover. He appears to drop in grade into this race and should be hard to beat.
EMMALEEN (9) was crossed in the early stages last time out by Azor Ahai before securing a good run. She worked into the clear late and just couldn’t quite finish it off when running fourth. She looks suited in this field and could appreciate the step back to 1780.
SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (1), MYSTICALFANTASY (7), FLY BURRA (6), EMMALEEN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MYSTICALFANTASY (7) to win.

SPORTY AZZ (8) was shuffled back last time out before hitting the line strongly late behind One Chain Road for fifth. He looks ideally suited in this race drawing well on the back row to do no work early and should be running on strongly again.
KEAYANG TARA (9) worked to the position outside the leader last time out and battled away fairly for fourth given she is best known for her sit sprint capacity. She should get a good run off the speed in this race and can be running on late.
ROSARITO (5) got shuffled back last time out at this track before running on fairly late into fifth. He looks very well graded in this race and despite appearing like he will be shuffled back early he looks to have strong claims.
VERMONT (4) was shuffled back last in her latest start before running on late into seventh. She should settle closer from a front row draw in this race. She can be driven a number of ways in this company.
SELECTIONS: SPORTY AZZ (8), KEAYANG TARA (9), ROSARITO (5), VERMONT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SPORTY AZZ (8) to win.

MAJOR ORION (9) worked hard to attempt to find the lead before being left without cover. He was able to edge to the lead in the concluding stages last time out past the leader in the race THREENTWO (3). He should get a similar run in this race and looks a strong chance again.
THREENTWO (3) was able to work hard early to lead before just being worn down by MAJOR ORION (9) in the concluding stages of the race. She should be able to work to the lead again in this race and should be hard to run down again.
CHAMPAGNE WALSH (8) appeared to have trialled well recently at Forbes behind Oh Its On. He should get a good run off the speed and can run well in this race first up in QLD.
FLUTTERING ANGEL (5) trialled up nicely recently at Albion Park when battling away well for fourth behind Fitzroy. She has gate speed but does draw a touch awkward in this race and may be shuffled back or forced to do work.
SELECTIONS: MAJOR ORION (9), THREENTWO (3), CHAMPAGNE WALSH (8), FLUTTERING ANGEL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THREENTWO (3) each way.

GALVARINO (3) showed good gate speed to lead last time out before controlling things and just fading out of it late. He is usually a horse that runs well out in front and if he can obtain a softer ead early this time he should be hard to run down
ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (6) was a good winner four starts ago when running on best over the top late. He finds a similar race to the one he was able to take out and should be benefited by what appears a likely genuine early tempo.
TRACER BULLET (7) had absolutely no luck last time out when being badly held up at a crucial stage of the race. He is down in grade off some of his better effort. He will need luck from an awkward draw but looks capable of figuring in a race of this nature.
COPY WRITER (4) hasn’t raced for over a month and returns in what appears to be a suitable race. She showed gate speed last start and was able to battle away well to finish fifth after doing some early work.
SELECTIONS: GALVARINO (3), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (6), TRACER BULLET (7), COPY WRITER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GALVARINO (3) to win.
| 3. Galvarino (2) J: Taleah McMullen 78758T: Amy Cargill |
RALLY AROUND (5) worked across to the lead last time out at this track being outstayed by Bennydasook who sat without cover and was able to score. He should be able to work forward again in this race and looks a strong chance of finding the front in the early stages. If he can find the front again he can go one better.
BRITTS MATE (4) has very little gate speed which often sees her shuffled back in the run. She was shuffled back last time out and couldn’t run into it late in a race taken out by Boulevard Bart. She should find this a lot easier and should nearing peak fitness third up.
LITTLE WHIPPET (3) showed gate speed before handing over to Rally Around and running third. He should have the gate speed to be first onto the pegs in the early stages and has options from there. He should run well again.
CELESTINE (8) ran well last start when running into third at Marburg behind Miarka and Mighty Crunch after starting on the back row. She comes into this race third up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. She should be running on late.
SELECTIONS: RALLY AROUND (5), BRITTS MATE (4), LITTLE WHIPPET (3), CELESTINE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: RALLY AROUND (5) to win.

WICKED VICTREE (1) showed gate speed last start working hard to hold before eventually handing over to Zorba Dan which soon tired and dragged him out of the race at a crucial stage. He still finished the race off nicely despite racing without luck. He can lead here before having options.
MCROCKIN (3) secured a good run last time out close to the speed and was running on strongly late into second behind Free Delivery. She looks set to secure a good run again close to the speed and can be running on late again.
ARKANSAURUS (2) was well beaten in a trial before debuting but did run through the line nicely late. She backed that trial up with a good effort on debut when looming up and looking a big threat in the race before finishing third. She is likely to have derived good benefit from her trial and first race start.
GIRL SECRETS (9) was luckless on debut when badly checked early before tiring out of the race late having worked hard to get back into it. She can bounce back in this race with more luck in the run.
SELECTIONS: WICKED VICTREE (1), MCROCKIN (3), ARKANSAURUS (2), GIRL SECRETS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WICKED VICTREE (1) to win.
| 1. Wicked Victree (1) J: Scott Hewitt 75T: Scott Hewitt |
LACEYS LASS (5) didn’t go to her best last time out when well beaten by Bennydasook at this track after racing off the speed. She appears to drop a long way back in grade into this race and should be running on late.
DIGBY JOY (4) draws the best of the main chances in this race and may be able to work her way to the lead in the early stages. She secured a good run two starts ago and was able to battle away well for third behind Major Orion and Piccolo Diavolo. This looks easier.
COCOLYN (6) ran well in a recent trial at Albion Park finishing third to Cool Dude Joey. She is likely to have derived good benefit from that recent outing and should run well on return in this race.
VINCENT BELLE (3) secured a good run three starts ago when racing 3 back on the pegs behind All Eyes On Bling when battling on well for third late. He appears to find a suitable race and should settle close enough.
SELECTIONS: LACEYS LASS (5), DIGBY JOY (4), COCOLYN (6), VINCENT BELLE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DIGBY JOY (4) to win.
