The Hungarian GP is the next race on the F1 schedule, and punters are met with an even betting market, which is headlined by Kimi Antonelli.
It has already been a monumental season with a mixed bag of results, and it’s good to see a wide range of drivers securing victories. However, it’s young gun Antonelli who leads the Formula 1 Drivers Championship, and he eyes another win after winning the Belgian GP at Spa.

Race Winner
How can you bet against Lewis Hamilton? He is an eight-time winner of the Hungarian GP, and his Ferrari has shown enough speed throughout the 2026 season.
He knows this circuit better than any driver in the race, and although many believe the Brit is past his best, his results this season suggest otherwise. It’s obvious that Mercedes has the fastest cars, but Ferrari has closed the gap, with Hamilton and Charles Leclerc driving well over the last few GPs.
Hamilton won the Spanish GP before finishing 5th, 3rd, and 4th in three subsequent races. He’s getting enough out of his car to make him a leading contender this week, and his knowledge of racing at Hungaroring puts him above the inexperienced Antonelli.
Ladbrokes has Hamilton at $5 to win, and we expect those odds to firm following practice and qualifying sessions during the week.

Podium Finish
We predict a big Hungarian Grand Prix for Ferrari, and it could be dominated by Hamilton and Leclerc.
Punters get $1.75 for Leclerc to finish on the podium in Hungary this weekend, and it’s a price worth including in Formula 1 multi bets. He had a couple of poor results at the Spanish GP and Austrian GP, but his form has turned around with a win at Silverstone and a second-placed finish at the Belgian GP.
He was just under two seconds behind Antonelli last week, which means his Ferrari is humming, and it should be enough to see him land on the podium this weekend. He has yet to finish on the podium in Hungary after numerous fourth-placed finishes, but now is the time for Leclerc to make amends.

Top 6 Finish
Isack Hadjar is enjoying a consistent season, having finished in the top 6 in his last five GPs. He finished fourth at Monaco before sixth in Spain and Austria.
The 21-year-old improved that position to finish fifth at the British GP before finishing sixth last week, so he’s an excellent bet for a top 6 finish. The proof is in the pudding, and he’s only going to get better with more racing under his belt.
It’s not easy to finish sixth against a quality field of drivers, and he’ll likely need one of the top seven drivers to DNF, but his car is driving well, and the $2.10 odds for a top 6 finish are generous.

Driver Match Bets
There are some good driver match bets available at Ladbrokes, including Valtteri Bottas to finish ahead of teammate Sergio Perez.
Bottas isn’t always the easiest driver to bet on, and he comes off an 18th at the Belgian GP. However, he’s narrowly ahead of Perez in the driver standings despite both drivers being scoreless.
It has been a tough year for the Cadaillac team, and finishing the race might be enough for Bottas to win the H2H match. We’re taking a risk and including him in our F1 tips at $2.
Another good driver match bet is Oscar Piastri to beat teammate Lando Norris. Piastri is due for a big result, and punters get $2.80 for him to beat Norris, which is an excellent price for the Australian.
Norris might be in the faster car, but Piastri is a dogged driver, and he could get his year back on track in Hungary.
