It’s the fight Australian boxing fans have been waiting for as local hero Tim Tszyu fights Errol Spence in a must-see bout in Sydney on Sunday afternoon.

Spence vs Tszyu Predictions
There is nothing splitting former three-belt champion Errol Spence and Tim Tszyu in betting markets. They’re paying $1.91 each, which shows how close the main event should be at Afterpay Arena on Sunday.
It has been a tough few years for Tszyu, who had the world at his feet after beating Brian Mendoza for the WBO Light Middleweight title, but what followed would unfortunately shape his career in a negative light.
The 31-year-old lost three of his next four fights, including two losses to Sebastian Fundora. It was a shock to the system for a fighter who was considered one of the best in the world, but stepping up in competition didn’t work out for him.
Spence is the older fighter at 36 years of age, and he needs to rebound from his first career loss. He started 28-0 before taking on legend Terence Crawford, where he was TKO’d in the ninth round. It was a devastating loss for Spence, but he has a good chance of bouncing back.
Spence’s record is much more impressive than Tszyu’s, and although we’re rooting for the Aussie, getting $1.91 for Spence is where the value resides.
Stephen Fulton vs Liam Wilson Predictions
It’s another US vs Aus fight as Stephen Fulton and Liam Wilson go to war in the Super Featherweight division.
Fulton has the more impressive record at 23-2, and his odds have shortened to beat Wilson. Ladbrokes has Fulton at $1.33 to win, which is a fair price considering the number of high-level fights the American has had.
Wilson has yet to face anyone close to Fulton’s level, and it could catch him by surprise. Fulton is a four-star fighter in his own right, and we can’t see him being beaten on Sunday.
Callum Peters vs Ivan Ricardo Actis Predictions
It’s a one-sided betting affair between Callum Peters and Ivan Ricardo Actis, with Peters paying skinny odds to retain his unbeaten record.
The Australian is improving his ranking after winning his first seven professional fights, which followed a glittering amateur career, where he was ranked #2 in the world. The 23-year-old is a $1.10 favourite to beat Actis, who is 13-0-1, but has yet to face anyone worth writing about.
There is a distinct class advantage to rising star Peters, and he’s expected to knock out the Argentinian within the first few rounds, hence the short odds. Punters should include him in boxing multi bets to win by KO.
Paul Fleming vs Ahmad Reda
Boxing odds have Ahmad Reda at $1.28 to beat countryman Paul Fleming, and the odds are warranted for the young Australian.
Fleming is no pushover at 28-1-2, and he brings a wealth of experience to the ring, but Reda is the man on the way up, and we’re not surprised by the boxing market confidence for the 23-year-old from Sydney.
Six of his eight wins came by knockout, and he scored a decision win over Bruno Tarimo in 2025, which was a tough battle. He got through it, and now he is favoured to keep his unbeaten record intact on Sunday.
He is another fighter paying short odds to win, but he’s another multi-bet pick.
Paulo Aokuso vs Luis Antonio Tejeda
Two promising light heavyweight fighters battle as Paulo Aokuso and Luis Antonio Tejeda look to put on a show in Sydney.
Aokuso will have the crowd on his side as the local Sydney fighter, and he has yet to suffer defeat in 10 pro fights. Five of those have come by KO, including his latest fight against Kittipong Jian Hao Ho.
Granted, he hasn’t faced tough opposition so far, but Tejeda is ranked #76 in the world. He has heavy hands, including nine wins by KO, but Aokuso has a more promising career ahead, and the Aussie should end the fight in the first few rounds.
Tina Rahimi vs Sacha Ryan Dryden
It’s a tricky fight to get the main card started with Tina Rahimi making her professional debut against 2-2 Sacha Ryan Dryden.
There has been some hype around Rahimi, who is the $1.12 favourite, but we put that down to her opponent not being very good. Dryden has two wins and two losses, so it has been a rough start to her career.
Rahimi went 23-12 as an amateur, which isn’t anything special, but she’s in the spotlight of the main card, and she should get her pro career off to a winning start.
